2024 marks a decade of the creation of inroads – The International Network for the Reduction of Abortion Stigma and Discrimination.

For the past ten years, we have been nurturing, amplifying, resourcing, and connecting stigma-busting individuals and efforts at the forefront of our abortion justice movements worldwide! 

Our work has been guided by a clear collective vision to bring about a world where abortions are truly accessible and centered around the needs, experiences, leadership, and requirements of those who have them.

Together, we went from an initial community of a couple of hundred members to over 2,500 committed abortion justice leaders and collectives from over 120 countries!

While we keep working to transform systemic, legal, medical, and interpersonal levels of stigma so that people can be free to access and experience abortion on their own terms, we are also intentionally preparing for our next 5-year strategic planning and reflecting on our collective journey and evolution through the past 10 years.

LOOKING AHEAD

As we celebrate a decade of joint achievements, we recognize that our work is far from over, but our collective power and determination are stronger than ever!

Together, we will continue to resource and build bridges of solidarity and collective power to transform abortions narratives, practices, and movements until everyone is free to access their fundamental right to stigma-free abortion healthcare worldwide.
